During my stay in ArToll (DE), a guest residence for artists, I made video-recordings created in the sewing workshop of the Rheinische Kliniken. ArToll is located in this area. Rheinische Kliniken is a psychiatric centre/tbs-clinic. One of the weekly activities is sorting and rolling of the socks of all 1000 residents.

Many people live In the houses with barbed wire. They all have the same socks. A weekly grey mountain. Individuals must be pairs. Slowly the differences visible. Bung holes, scuffs, discolorations. Also on the rolling pairs of hands.
